Technology Support

Are you looking for employment or training, but struggling to access or use technology? Digital Divide provides tailored training on a variety of modules, including:

  • Creating an email account
  • Online Safety
  • Use of the NHS app
  • Online Banking
  • Online Shopping
  • Microsoft packages

To access support through Digital Divide, you must be 19 or over, and live in East Birmingham or North Solihull, and looking to learn or improve your IT skills.

Get Connected

Get Connected is a free 8-week programme designed to help adults build confidence using online services and improve employment-related digital skills. Delivered by the Disability Resource Centre (DRC), the project supports people to access essential online tools for work, benefits, and everyday life.

Participants will receive friendly, face-to-face support with:

  • Registering on job-search websites
  • Uploading CVs and applying for jobs online
  • Completing and tracking online applications
  • Managing online services such as Universal Credit
  • Building confidence and independence online

The programme is open to adults aged 18+ who have a health condition or disability, including self-diagnosed conditions.
